I'm at a loss of what to do! My LO is about 7.5 months and I've been having so much trouble getting him to eat supper. Some background: we are doing a combination of BLW and pureés. He eats his breakfast wonderfully and I recently started offering him a snack in the afternoons because he was getting pretty fussy in the afternoons and a bottle wasn't cutting it anymore. But when it comes to supper he just cries the whole time until I take him out of his highchair. He will maybe have a couple bites before crying so much! This has been going on for about a month, so before I started offering a small afternoon snack. Prior to this he would have breakfast and supper no problem. And I haven't introduced a new food in a while. I'm trying to keep mealtimes a positive experience so when he acts like that I try to just accept it and move on, but lately it's really starting to get to me. I'm currently in the process of trying to offer him supper later to see if maybe I was offering him food when he wasn't hungry; today that went horribly but he had a very short (and not normal) afternoon nap so I am attributing that to tiredness.

Hi..is it the same food ubgive hom every night? Perhaps try something sweet..i noticed when mine was eating well i just gave him a nice cereal with formula and added mashed banana or any juicy fruit. Sometimes a breakfast at dinner helps.
I try to switch up his dinners most days. But I meal prep his food so it does end up being the same thing for a couple days. But I'll try adding a fruit to see if that helps. He does love fruit!

I'm also having a reallllly hard time with getting my 9 mo to eat. He actually reaaaaally lives yogurt, maybe cz it tastes like his milk. I miz it is with whatever fruit puree I've made. That's his favorite thing. He also likes peanut butter mixed in with different foods. Perhaps that could work. But I feel you momma I had a little cry fest about that this week but the I also Introduced some of those dissolving puffs and Crackers and those seem to have made him interested in eating other things in general a bit more. Hoping we've turned a corner 🤞

I hear u both..my almost 8 months old is bugging me with food too but this is what i do
Milk around 7 to 8am n he goes back to sleep.
Breakfast 10:30ish am oatmeal with egg yolk a little bit of avocado and 1 fruit mixed in it with formula milk.
12:30 few sips of milk and he naps for about an hour (hardly)
When he Wake up i give him peanut butter with banana or papaya or any fruit i have available it is usually very very small amount like 2 bites and 1 rusk which melts in the mouth.. or i give him half go go fruit from costco and a rusk.
4pm lunch is puree of some veggies
Then naps again around 5pm for an hour ish sometimes an hour n half
6 pm is small snack again similar to afternoon one
8pm is dinner some sort of puree and b4 9pm he sleeps.
What i also do is..anything i eat i put it in his mouth too very tiny amounts so he gets used to normal food.
