My 22 month old is still having 2 nighttime bottles and it's driving us crazy. If we don't give them to her she cries loudly and it gets worse and worse, which is so annoying. Does anybody have any tips on what we could do?

Have you tried giving her water, instead?

We are in the same boat! Some nights he sleeps through, some nights he needs a bottle and he won’t sleep or settle until he has one. If we try give him water it makes him more upset 😅 Ive no advice but maybe good to know you’re not alone 🥲

Think it’s normal at that age
My son wakes numerous times!

Could you start to reduce the amount of milk in the bottles?
Or just trying to be firm and saying no to the milk and comforting in another way?

My little one has water when she wakes up, 1-2 a night. She needs us to hold her to get back to sleep as well. I would say it’s pretty normal for them to wake up and want comfort, whatever that looks for them.
Could you offer less milk until there’s barely any or offer water instead? some water down the milk until it’s more water than milk.
I wouldn’t try to cut it out cold Turkey, as it’s their comfort and even as adults we wake up and sometimes need a drink.

We weaned him onto water, replacing 1oz per night. For a week. He still wakes 1-2 times per night but only needs a couple of sips of water and will go back to sleep
