I am really worried about my 11 month old as she doesn’t seem to know when she is full. She loves food and will eat almost anything. But I feel like she eats a lot and I am now worried that there is something wrong.
She has recently jumped from the 9th percentile to the 25th percentile with her weight.
Health visitor doesn’t seem concerned. She is not walking yet. She bum shuffles rather than crawls.
I have been reading about prader Willis syndrome and I am now concerned she may have this. Although she doesn’t have any of ten other symptoms just a big appetite and doesn’t seem to know when she is full. She will just keep going. We have to distract her away from the highchair.
Is anybody else having similar worries x

I don't worry about this but our girl could eat all day long really

Mines gone from 50th to 91st percentile - she’s happy and healthy but doesn’t always have much of an appetite for solids. They’re all different and grow at different rates. If you are concerned as she grows though then obviously speak to the doctor x

At this age you should just keep feeding them until they stop, even if it’s more than you thought they could eat..as long as it’s good nutritious food there is nothing wrong with that. She could be going through a growth spurt or could you be a really goofy baby. It is peaks and troughs so I would feed while she will eat like that! x

My LO is similar… just loves his food and it feels like he just eats all day. He was tiny until weaning and wasn’t even on the bottom line… now he’s almost at 50th percentile. I’ve been relieved he’s put on the weight tbh. He’s also slow to move so I’m sure he’ll lose it a bit when he starts moving. I’ve also heard they get fussier later so I’m just embracing that he loves all food atm!
Maybe looks for signs of being overfull like being sick or upset from bloating. But if she’s happy then I’m sure she’s fine! X
