12 week scan

I have my 12 week scan tomorrow, and I have never felt anxiety like it. Because I haven’t had really any symptoms I’m just so worried thy are going to tell me something is wrong. I had an early scan at 8 weeks and everything was okay but I still have this anxiety. Any one else felt like this?

I had exactly the same feeling as I also had no symptoms! I was convinced something wrong but everything was absolutely fine and didn’t really have any symptoms my whole pregnancy and didn’t show till 20 weeks. Everyone is different and try not to worry. Easier said than done! X

I’m 21 weeks and I never had symptoms!
If you had a good scan at 8 weeks and no bleeding/severe cramps, chances are this scan will be fine too

Thanks guys honestly feel like I’m going abit crazy and I hate talking to my partner about it because I think it makes him panic aswell

I felt exactly the same, everything was fine! I am feeling the same now for my 20week scan. Feels worse the closer it gets

I felt exactly the same for ours as I’d had not symptoms up until that point. Like you we went for an early scan at 8 weeks and all was okay but I was so worried something would have happened in that 4 week gap. But all was well 🥰 I am now 38+6 with our little baby boy waiting for him to make his arrival 🥰 I know it’s easier said than done to say try not to worry. But know you are not alone in feeling that way 😘 xxx

I felt the exact same every scan we had. Only symptom I had was from 8weeks being sick but didn't feel more pregnant until 22ish weeks we now have a beautiful baby boy. I know its easier said than done but try not to worry xxx

Im so sorry you’re feeling so anxious. It’s really hard - I felt the same and have my 20 week scan in Thursday! Something that helped me was someone telling me that every person you see, talk to, interact with who is walking round on this earth is the result of a successful pregnancy. The chances are that everything will be grand ♥️

I am the exact same! I am 10 weeks and have tiredness but not really much else so it’s been disconcerting. I’ve had a scan at 7 weeks and all was fine but still hasn’t stopped me worrying! Glad to see there’s other people in the same position. Let us know how you get on x

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
