Mums i need help & advice… First time mum here
my 1 month old has been on cow & gate milk since he was born and hes still having trouble going a toilet he last had a dirty nappy friday but when he does go a toilet its yellow and soft the right colour and consistency when looking this up its saying its not constipation🤷🏻♀️ hes also having trouble what seems to be his belly hes having wet nappys and hes feeding and finishing all his bottles he does sometimes bring back what he doesnt want, but hes constantly crying after feeds and stuff and hes also fighting sleep he doesnt sleep for long, weve used infacol that seemed to help for abit but isn’t working anymore, he has also had tests done e.g. ultrasound on his belly for other reasons but everything was normal, could this be colic or could he generally be constipated thinking about changing his milk what could you all suggest the next best thing to cow and gate is? Im so stuck and just want my baby to feel better.

same with my little girl, I boiled some water so it was sterile waited for it to cool down and gave her like 3ml and she went to toilet the next morning x

Try the comfort version of his milk that will help with constipation xxx

ive seen this and thinking to try him on the comfort one think it’s colic and constipation but it said on the tub to consult a gp or health visitor x

My little boy has the same milk and the same tummy aches, although mine poops a lot - he's a little poop machine!
Anyway the only thing that seems to help is to put him over my shoulder, burp him and then he sort of shuffles down a little and falls asleep on my chest while in an almost upright position.

my little one does this also sleeps on my chest and i honestly think its the comfort and warmth of you on his tummy but im absolutely clueless x

My boy is on cow and gate, he’s 4 weeks old today and only has a dirty nappy every 2 days. My midwife said it was normal and they can go up to 3 days without pooping, she said as long as it’s not solid then everything is fine.
He has a fair amount of wind and sometimes we do struggle with it but our health visitor said to use infacol but consistently before each feed, this has helped us but we only noticed a difference after 2/3 days

my boys like this aswell loved to sleep like it

this sounds exactly like my boy we used infacol but it doesnt seem to work anymore

have you tried bicycle legs and moving his hips/lower tummy when he is relaxed to get things moving? This and having a bath helps our boy with his wind

yea done all of that ive managed to change his milk to cow & gate comfort colic & constipation to see if it helps
