Clomid for Second Pregnancy

Has anyone been prescribed Clomid for falling pregnant a second time? The only successful pregnancy I had was using this and it feels like we could be heading down this route again…

I’m currently taking Clomid to try for a second baby

I am on my 6th cycle of clomid trying for our 2nd.
We somehow fell naturally with our 1st even though I don’t ovulate.

Thank you! What was the wait time like for you to get seen for it? I feel whatever hormones it makes you produce allowed me to sustain a pregnancy so hoping they will consider that to!

I was on clomid for my second baby, worked on the 5th round & currently 32 weeks pregnant with a little boy💙

We’re on our first round, so we’ll see. We got pregnant with our son on the first round of Clomid so I’m trying to hold my expectations in place

How did you get Clomid for a second child is it all private? I’ve had one naturally who turns 1 on Tuesday and I’m no longer ovulating since having Him. I was very lucky with the first one as I have pcos and Thyroid issues but the NHS don’t prescribe it if you already have one right? Thank you 😊xx

I’ve been under a consultant with nhs since I was 16 for pcos.
I after 3 years of trying for a second I really pushed what our options were.
I had the procedure to see if my tubes were blocked which they weren’t.
I don’t know if it’s our trusts policy. But we have been entitled to 6 rounds of clomid on nhs. We may then be able to have 6 rounds of letarzol but after that we are on our own due to having a baby naturally previously.

I do think it is down to what trust you are in. But i think because we had been trying for 3 years they could do something.

aww thank you. Yeah weve not started trying yet but I’ve only had two periods since having our son and the periods I did so I got all negative ovulation tests so they’ve told me to do 3-4 months of natural trying and then look into a private clinic. I guess we’ll see what happens. I just know if I’m not ovulating it’s kinda pointless just naturally trying so I wanted to go straight to the clinic but she said they’d probably not accept me if I’ve not done any. Pregnancy indication?

Could this be a pregnancy indication? Yesterday my LH tests were measuring 0.1 now 0.27. Only 9dpo preg test negitive.

Hi guys,
With a 17 month old me and my partner feel we are ready to start trying for baby number 2.
Does anyone have any tips when trying for a baby? our first was a very spontaneous surprise so we’ve never tried before.
Any advice and tips would be appreciated, i’m quite anxious and i understand these things may take time.

Would you continue a potential friendship if their kid keeps hurting your kid?

I recently met a woman whose child is the same age as mine. We’ve only met about two times so far. She said she’d like to meet again and suggested doing a playdate.

The problem is that every time we’ve seen each other, her child has been physical with my kid. The other day he pushed and then fell on top of my child, which made my kid cry really badly. Today we ran into them again and he hit my child on the head with a book.

Even though the mom does tell her child not to do it, it keeps happening. I also noticed that her child does this to other kids too. Today at the park he hit another child and made them cry.

But I realized something: whenever I’m around them, I feel really stressed because I constantly feel like I need to watch closely and protect my kid.

The reason I was initially open to the friendship is that we’re from the same country and speak the same language, and since we don’t have family here it seemed like it could be nice to build a friendship.

But now I’m not sure.

Would you keep trying to build a friendship and do playdates in this situation, or would you just step back before the friendship really starts?

Help! How far along am I? Confused!

Hi everyone, I had my first period post miscarriage (which happened in January) start on March 2nd. I did ovulation tests here and there which all came back negative, then I got a positive one on 29th March, which is obviously super late ovulation. I was in hospital for something unrelated around the weekend of 14th March which is when I THINK I was ovulating, but obviously the test I did on 29th March was positive. I have an inkling the ovulation test actually picked up pregnancy, because I’ve just done a pregnancy test today, 9th April, which has come back positive! 🥲 or could it be that I’ve just picked up my pregnancy really early?
