Do you ever feel fully ready?

My son is 18 months old and I feel like I'm finally fully back to myself again.
I'd also like to have another child though, not too far apart in age, and I'm 35...

I was anxious for a lot of my pregnancy due to a previous miscarriage, and the birth of my son was pretty traumatic so the idea of diving back into all of that again is quite daunting.

Do you think I should just bite the bullet and did you ever feel 'fully' ready to try for your next child?

So we ttc for a couple of months after I was given the all ok from an operation of cyst and ovary removal, it wasn’t happening despite everything. We decided to give up and wouldn’t bother, we have 3 children. Then something in me just told me to test yesterday, so I did! I have never seen it so early, go so dark and show up so quickly! Roughly 4 weeks & 4 days. 3 days late for my period. Is it normal for it to be so dark this early???

Is 3 in my 40's crazy?

I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old- both full of beans boys. Im 44. We are considering a 3rd as this was our original plan and we love being parents but I just dont know if Ive got the energy! We did IVF and still have 2 embryos, so it would mean planning another embryo transfer. I am young for my age but we have no support. Its just me and my husband and he has adhd so is quite a handful himself. I really want another baby but my head says its not logical. But sometimes I wonder if we're overthinking it and are worrying about what it looks like to others. Im really torn.

Is anyone else in the same boat? Am I being selfish?
