I did some research and natural cycles says

“.A reading of 0.27 on an ovulation test at 9 days past ovulation (DPO) is generally considered low and is not a reliable indicator of pregnancy”

My periods due tomorrow and my ovulation strip tested 0.4

Help! How far along am I? Confused!

Hi everyone, I had my first period post miscarriage (which happened in January) start on March 2nd. I did ovulation tests here and there which all came back negative, then I got a positive one on 29th March, which is obviously super late ovulation. I was in hospital for something unrelated around the weekend of 14th March which is when I THINK I was ovulating, but obviously the test I did on 29th March was positive. I have an inkling the ovulation test actually picked up pregnancy, because I’ve just done a pregnancy test today, 9th April, which has come back positive! 🥲 or could it be that I’ve just picked up my pregnancy really early?

Do you ever feel fully ready?

My son is 18 months old and I feel like I'm finally fully back to myself again.
I'd also like to have another child though, not too far apart in age, and I'm 35...

I was anxious for a lot of my pregnancy due to a previous miscarriage, and the birth of my son was pretty traumatic so the idea of diving back into all of that again is quite daunting.

Do you think I should just bite the bullet and did you ever feel 'fully' ready to try for your next child?

What are thoughts on “Free-Range Parenting”

Free-range parenting is a style that fosters independence, self-reliance, and resilience by allowing children age-appropriate freedom to explore, make decisions, and play without constant supervision. It prioritizes self-sufficient skill-building over high-risk fears, often allowing activities like walking to school alone, playing in parks unsupervised, or running errands.

Where does your parenting style fall on the spectrum?
