Not long to go now and the idea of breastfeeding is becoming less appealing to me. I ended up expressing for about a month the first time, which I didn’t enjoy but I couldn’t get a latch and had complications after birth which meant she got used to a bottle so it seemed the easiest option.
I’m not the sort of person who does very well on little sleep, I can manage to an extent but the idea of it all being on me is overwhelming plus having a 2-year old, plus I’m having a c-section and recovery was really tough last time. I know it is meant to be best for babies but really struggling with the idea of it. Anyone else feel the same?

I felt this was with my first, however I exclusively breast fed him for 2 years and its one of my proudest achievements!
Plan on doing the same for this one!
Just do what's right for you, maybe just give it a try and see how u get on, take it day by day, week by week x

I’m on the fence this time too, like you I had a rough recovery from a c section last time so struggled to feed, she went on the bottle pretty quickly which I was really upset about at the time but looking back it meant my husband could do more of the feeding so I could recover better so I kind of want to give it a shot this time but also thinking it would be easier for everyone if we bottle feed again x

I’m not sure either. This is my first and I’m 80% sure I’m going to bottle/formula feed. Just do what you feel is right for you. A happy baby is a fed baby :)
good advice, no need to decide now and I can just take a day at a time - thank you x
yes sharing the feeding is a huge benefit! And sleep is hugely important for recovery x
agree, my first only had about 4 weeks of breastmilk and she has only ever thrived, the healthiest and happiest girl x

I'm going for it since I'm already feeding my 1yo as much as it can hurt (with top ups of formula for outside/biting/sore) & it'll be easier to ween her off with just a night feed & my March baby girl is then going to feed from me aiming for another year 🥰🥰
