T21, please help me, termination pending

12 week scan showed exomphalos (bowel growing on the outside) . Beta hcg was 3.2 and PappA 0.5.
NT 1.4mm
Exomphalos increased the risk to 1 in 4 for T13 and 18 and 1 in 101 for DS.
Had a CVS and results show it has DS. How can this be right... low NT and no other physical defects on the scan and my blood markers normal from what I can work out online. Is there any chance they got this wrong?!?!?! I have a TOP booked but I'm worried they've got it wrong

Hiya I had this, the NT measurement was In normal range, no structural or organ abnormalities on the scan. However CVS showed monosomy 9 and trisomy 20. I have had 2 CVS's and they're very accurate unfortunately :( I thought they got it wrong but it was correct. Its hard to believe when everything is so 'normal' but It can happen. I'm so sorry xx

Hi, I’m really sorry you’re in this situation - it’s so so hard. My NIPT results so a high probability of T21. Went for a scan today and NT was 3mm so just as the cusp of the ‘normal’ range, but baby looks completely healthy otherwise. I had the CVS today to confirm T21 diagnosis but in my heart I know the NIPT is right. We have decided we won’t continue with the pregnancy once it’s confirmed, but it’s the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced. Sending love to you

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
