Can the baby sleep all night with the next to me on an incline? 🙈
Say one end is at 8 and the other at 10?
Or is this just for supervised naps?
Our little one seems to sleep better during the day in a swing etc and I’m obviously watching him but would love to try him at night with his bassinet raised a little to see if it helps!
We have been awake since 3am with him screaming in his sleep, one doctor thinks it’s Reflux the other doctor thinks teething?!
So one has told us to give Gaviscon and the other has advised calpol? Can we give the two together? 🙈

Yep, my little girl slept at an incline til she moved into her own room and my newborn now is sleeping at an incline also :)
My little girl had reflux and she was put on everything and nothing helped til we cut down her feed size and it went away within a day so also look at how much baba is feeding x
He’s mostly breastfed but gets 1 bottle at night… he is 4 months and getting about 7oz? Should I reduce this? 🙈

Sorry to jump on! When you say he gets 7oz in a bottle do you mean 7oz of formula or pumped breastmilk? If it’s breastmilk then no breastfed baby needs more than 5oz of bm at a time x
No he gets 7oz formula. He was combination fed as I was extremely ill when he was born and couldn’t even pump. We were advised to keep formula as I could have been readmitted to hospital at any time without him. We chose to keep it at night as I also was advised to sleep as much as possible at night for my recovery! So he gets 7oz formula as last feed!

Ah that’s okay. I don’t know about formula just about breastmilk and that you shouldn’t need to give more than 5oz bm! Hope you feel better soon!
It may be too much. I don’t know much about formula either 🙈 He is breastfed all day. Just HV advised keeping formula in his diet after I was in hospital unexpectedly over night a month ago. Hadn’t anticipated the stay so didn’t have enough expressed milk left. She said keeping some formula would mean he wouldn’t take strange to it. I find it quite confusing when to up the oz etc 🫠

Yep I’d say reduce that for sure.. once we got our little lady sorted, she never got more than 6oz at a time. She is almost a year and three months and is down to one 6oz formula feed a day x

Could you give your HV a wee ring to see what they advise just incase nobody gets back to you on this post? How old is he?
Health visitor actually moved positions and we have no replacement yet 😕
