Not responding to name but hear everything else

My son does this too. Some words he will say. But some words he mumbles/doesn't pronounce. He also rarely responds to his name. We're using the bluey song to help him know when it's his turn to dance. I've also heard using pictures of individuals is helpful.

That's funny that you mention it. My son will sometimes respond to his name but most of the time he won't. I feel like he used to look when we said his name when he was smaller. So I'm not sure why he's not now. 🤔
But he seems to understand things like "go upstairs" and "let's get some food". So I don't have advice per say, but I feel you. 😅

My daughter will respond to her name when she wants to. I think it's a toddler thing.
