Best time for an early scan

I booked for 8 weeks knowing I was probably closer to 7 and a half weeks and I saw a heartbeat and it was abdominal.

just seems so far away 😫😫

I’ve booked for 8 weeks, the wait is long but I’m hoping to see more then than going at 6/7 🤞🏼 found out at 4 weeks so by going at 8 weeks I’m having to wait 4 weeks and then another 4 week wait for NHS scan, trying to break it down into more manageable chunks 😂

6/7 weeks but it won’t be a “baby” just like a blob with a heartbeat haha xx

I would say 8-9 weeks to definitely see a baby and heartbeat, plus it’ll look more like a baby and less like a fluid filled sac. If you get a scan too early and you don’t see a heartbeat it’ll just cause even more anxiety. I know the wait is hard! 😩 best of luck to you xx

7 weeks is likely the earliest to get a decent scan
