Scared toddler

My sleep trained baby is suddenly scared at bedtime, she saw a pirate event last weekend in the amusement park and they were saying that white sharks are eating the pirates.. Last night she was crying saying that they're coming to eat her. Now she's scared of noises (like the floor craking) She has a dummy, a light in the room nothing is working and we need to go 1000 times to comfort her, is there any thing I can do to help her pass this phase without any trauma ?

Sorry to hear this mama! Depends!! How old is she??? I found that what helped us as kids was when we had a bad dream my mom would come and put Arabic pita bread under our pillow! Sounds hilarious but she said it took all the bad dreams and thoughts away and put it into the bread and when I wake up I can throw it. It worked wonders!!!! Kids believe what they hear! And they may believe it more if it’s not a traditionally used bread. So they think it has special powers! Also when something is tangible it makes a difference. We would be upset if there isn’t bread underneath our pillow to help us lol 😆

Oh visually you can show her how bread abords water, or oil etc. So she believes it even more, it will all absorb away into the bread

@Suraya S that's hilarious sister 🤣 I like the idea but she's 2 and 4 months today doesn't have any pillow yet also I don't think she's dreaming of it she doesn't wake up during the night it happen only before going to sleep...

@Kelsey ooooh she's afraid of that camera below her bed also she freakes out when I try to use the talk back 🤦‍♀️ I'll try the kissing game though since we're already doing that back and forth to her room..
