It is measured from the start of the previous feeding (which is really aggravating if you have a leisurely eater).

Depending on how long they feed. I gauge it from the middle to end. But mine eats quick.

From the start. That's what the nurse at hospital told me and that's when he acts hungry

I feel like my baby has an internal clock and when it comes to this those hours feel like minutes

Technically it’s from the start but I just try to follow my baby’s lead! He always tells me when he’s hungry and right now they’re so young they should be feeding on demand so it doesn’t really matter the last time they ate ☺️ I just try not to go more than 3-4 hours in between!

From the start and I agree with to never go beyond 3-4 hrs from the start of the last feeding. Sometimes my LO wants to feed at 2.5 hrs.

I use the huckleberry app to keep track of his feeds and set reminders so I don't go more than 3-4 hours. It's been super helpful
