Nappies! Help!

Right so my LG is currently in sainsburys 6+, they're absolutely brilliant, we were using aldi size 7 nappies but the sizing seems all off because they're alot smaller that the sainsburys 6+.

The past two mornings my LG has been absolutely drenched up her front, she sleeps on her front the majority of the night so the back of the nappy was bone dry.
Now sainsburys don't do nappies in the next size up they go to pants, and I'm not on board with pants for nighttime (idk why honestly ha).
And aldi are just useless now so does anyone have any advice?
I don't want to be buying pampers because they are so expensive, and double the price of what I pay for sainsburys or aldi. I'm a single mom part time working so things are tight.
Are other supermarket nappies any good?
Is there any nappy made for front sleepers?

I'll still be using the 6+ sainsburys in the day because they are honestly great and I've never had any issues with them.

We use pants at night & they work really well for our LO - I think the stretchy band helps keeps leaks in.

Other tips I’ve heard are making sure LOs vest/pjs aren’t too tight as that can leave less room for liquid.

No advice on brands though as we’ve always used Sainsbury’s/pampers

I have the same issue 😕 we were using the size 7 pull ups from Sainsburys but she's now outgrown them. We're using pampers size 8 but looking for cheaper alternatives!

We use Tesco Fred and Flo. Not sure what size they go up to as we’re only in size 4 but size 4 in them is for babies up to a weight of 40lbs. I think they’re something like £2.89 for 48 nappies x

I know you mentioned you're not too keen on pants type of nappies, but they are great! The Sainsbury's are lovely. I moved to Pampers for a while as they're so widely recommended but couldn't see much difference. Actually he started getting a nappy rash.
But if you'd really like to try Pampers they are on offer now in many supermarkets. At Sainsbury's they are about only a £1 more expensive that the shop brand.

We use Aldi or Tesco own brand and we use pants. So much easier, love them!

When do things get easier?

As we entered the 9-12 month stage, my son started crawling and pulling himself up. He also became more clingy and does not play alone, still doesnt sleep through the night, and this week has been sick (so EVERYTHING amplified). I am tired and overwhelmed. Please lie and tell me things get better. 🥺

Colostrum storing?

Has anyone successfully extracted colostrum before the baby’s born? Apparently it gets produced from 16w pregnant and you can start storing it in the freezer but I’m 34w looking at my nipples and the syringes on amazon wondering how it works?? Like what did you use and did it hurt? 🥲

4 month bed time

What time do you put your babies to bed?
What time do you start your 'routine?'
My LO currently goes to bed around 10.30pm, and I know i need to start bringing it forward. Everytime ive tried, it takes longer for my LO to settle.
We are exclusively breastfeeding. Any advice Mamas?

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.
