I've always co-slept with my 21m old. I'm 10w pregnant with twins - how will I co-sleep with them? It's likely they'll be a lower birth weight or not full-term. Just wondering how people do it?

I don’t cosleep with my twins as I am a very deep sleeper and am afraid to. I do sleep on the floor in their room so I pull them into bed with me to nurse if they wake separately and sometimes we will doze like this. However, I saw a woman with twins sleep with one on either side of her. She would c curl around one while the other slept on his back on the other side of her and when he was ready to nurse, he would root at her back and then she would flip over and vice versa. That’s the only way I can even imagine it being done but I’m interested to see if anyone else has a better solution.

Dependent who is in the bed with you you can get them cosleeping bassinets that sit on top of your bed. Me personally I don’t move much at night so my son is either on my stomach all night or in the crevice of my arm.

Congratulations!! I co slept with my twins for the first 6 months and when my husband wasn’t working nights he would sleep next to one and I the other and alternate as needed for feedings etc. When he was working nights I would sleep in between them and just flip back and forth as needed for feedings. Didn’t get much sleep that way though because I hated having my back to one of them. You will find what works for you with time!

I have coslept with my twins since around 4mo, one on each side of me. We have a king size floorbed. For a while now they go down to sleep then I spent the first half of the night with my husband and go with them when they first wake up, sometimes they sleep through but one of them needs me more, she usually comes to get me in the middle of the night. For context they are now 26mo. The first four months they were in a next to me.
