C-section 4 weeks pp achy

I am 4 weeks pp and I feel very achy still, more so than last week. I have had my scar and stomach checked and they think that the pain is just where I am becoming more mobile and doing more. I have no signs of infection or swelling. I wondered if others found they ached a lot still in the 4th week, or more as they returned more to normal life?

Yeah I’m 4 weeks pp and definitely still feel achy more so in my lower region and still tender in my lower belly above my scar but I’m probably doing more than I should be 😬🫣

I am just a little over 4 weeks myself and also have started to feel “achy”. It feels as though I have done an ab workout at all times. That’s the best way to describe it! I think like you said it’s from starting to be more active. Especially because we haven’t been using these muscles for the past 4 weeks! Make sure to keep resting when you can! A heating pad is also helpful! 💛🤗

4 weeks today as well and some days are worse than others

If it keeps trending worse, I’d take a look at supplements — anemia and pain could be increasing.

Yes, I still ached in the 4th week for sure. It was all better between weeks 6-8. It will only get better!

Hiya! Firstly well done and congratulations 😊
My stomach never did hurt until around 4 weeks pp and it felt sore for a month or so. I think it’s pretty normal as you’ve had a big surgery. Still take it really easy as it’s going to take a while to heal. My midwife would tell me that I need to treat home like a hospital for the first 8 weeks. Because even if the outside looks healed, inside your stomach need to heal too. They cut through mussel ect. Take it easy 😊 easier said than done I know. Hope you feel better soon xxx

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Reduced movements

26 weeks and haven’t really felt little baby all day, she’s usually super active & I have a posterior placenta so I feel her all the time usually. I did feel her ever so briefly earlier right down into my pelvis. I was at maternity triage the other night with tummy cramps but everything was fine and so was baby. What should I do? I don’t want to feel like a nuisance?
