Our toddler has bought home a nursery bug. Our newborn sounds very congested, sounds like a snoring pig, especially when laid down.
Ive been using saline drops throughout the day, followed by nose frieda snot sucker but nothing seems to come out? I am a pro at using this device as I use it regularly on the toddler when gets unwell.
Dont know what more I can do. Is it worth a trip to the gp? Newborn otherwise well, feeds well, sleeps well (when on me)

My boy was the same a couple of weeks ago, definitely sounded like a little pig snorting away bless him,
I used the saline drops and spoke to the GP who said as long as he was feeding, having wet nappies and didn't have a temperature then to let him just ride it out.
I did feel pretty helpless and it took over a week to improve... then the poor thing contracted bronchiolitis so dealing with that now instead x

I find the spray much better than the drops as it moistens everything. There are some good plug ins, you can also take baby into the bathroom and get the shower all steamy like a steam room x

My 4week old is the same , the Sterimar sprey works instantly also my gp told me to rub vicks on his clothing or on a cloth and put on his bed .
