My little one doesn’t sleep much during the day! He’ll have the odd nap if I take him out in the car or the pram, and he may have a contact nap after a big feed, although they are becoming more and more rare!
I’m sure he’s so overtired as he’s crying a lot more than he ever used to. I don’t know how to even start implementing a routine or trying to put him down for naps at certain times.
Any advice would be sooo appreciated!!

Are you waiting for him to fall asleep or proactively trying to get him down? Their wake windows should only really be about 90 mins ish, so after feed/bottle, burping, nappy and a bit of playing or singing/cuddles or when it starts to get near 90 mins start to cuddle him and rock or pat or whatever works. We lie her on her side in our arms with dummy and bum pat and it works everytime now Im proactively tracking the wake windows! Sometimes it will be even less than 90 mins- watch out for him staring into space and not blinking much x

Fabric wrap carrier. I have the ‘koala’ one from Amazon £40. My yo sleeps upto 3 hours in there if I’m moving x

This sounds like my 6 week old baby girl! As CeeCee said above we started monitoring wake windows and proactively getting her to nap by swaying, singing, catching. She seems much happier when she wakes!!!
She does to a lot of catnaps though sometimes 15-20 mins! But then other times stays asleep for about 2 hours.
It’s also working out better for feeding too as without sleep she was on and off my boob having small feeds whereas after a nap she wakes and has a ‘proper’ feed.
What a minefield!!!! Xxxx
