Rolling over at 3 months??

My 3 month old started rolling from belly to back already… she hates tummy time and now I really can’t get her to do it bc she instantly rolls.😀🙂

Mine is the same way! Currently chasing her across her floor mat 🫠 so hard to keep up with them when they start moving!

My baby is 3m 2 weeks and she isn’t even close to rolling at all 😭 I was just curious on how long it usually takes

don’t stress! Everyone little one is on their own timeline. Our daughter went from showing no signs that she was going to roll any time soon and then one day I turned around for two seconds and looked back to find her on her side. She’ll figure it out! You’re doing great!

My son hates being on his back so he will roll over on his tummy and he will also roll over on his back and he is also teething at 3 months

Avatar

thanks! She’s definitely trying I just think she doesn’t have the core strength so far. She’s done everything else already super early. She’s already teething 😅

you can try to gently roll her from her side to her tummy or other small motions like that to introduce her to the action of rolling. Our doctor told us that sometimes kids aren’t behind on things, they just simply don’t know that they can do things! I feel you on the teething. We’re a week into it 😅best of luck!!

Avatar

oh that’s a good idea! I wouldn’t have thought of that! She’s rolled over from her tummy to her back once and it was an accident I think haha

Avatar

haha then she’s doing just fine! It sounds like she should start soon. You can always try to encourage her to do it again since she’s familiar with it and then build from there!

Avatar

thank you! I will definitely be doing it!

Omg mamas…. teething already!! Also I work with an OT/PT and she said stretching the neck legs and arms (having baby reach across “mid line”) is best to introduce now!!!

I was getting worried too but my daughter did it for the first time a couple days ago!!! It’ll happen!!!

Awesome!

In a group I'm in on fb there was this exact same post and everyone said to try Tummy time propped up on the boppy and that it worked for them!

Avatar

@Lorelei rolling is considered a 6 month milestone so there's still no rush or need to worry about your lo being behind 😊

Avatar

oh okay!

Avatar

Does she have reflux or any tension in the body? Usually babes that immediately roll from belly to back might be experiencing some discomfort. Has she been seen by a PT or chiro to assess?

good to know… I plan on taking her to a Chiropractor

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
