So my daughter is almost 10 months and began getting so clingy that most of the time she cries if I even step into another room. She slept through the night soon after I brought her home from the hospital, but around when I got pregnant she started waking to get in bed with me in the night. Could this be because I'm pregnant?? Has anyone else experienced this, if so I'd appreciate advice! :)

We had similar at that age without pregnancy. I think it's just them developing and realising you are a separate person

I'm pregnant and my son is 10 months too, and boy is he clingy! Cries when I leave the room even if he's in his dads arms, just wants to be held by me all the time, and it's starting to get a bit difficult holding him for too long as he's getting heavier and so am I in my pregnancy 🤭
I think its a bit of both tbh. An age thing and because I'm pregnant. My mum and gran say that kids get a bit more
attached to you when you're pregnant as they can sense they wont be the only ones or something.
And I also saw a video recently on tik tok saying that later during pregnancy, women release more oxytocin which is the love hormone, and kids can sense it and that's why they get drawn to you for extra cuddles 🥰

girl I have the same issue. except I leave a room this little girl will just come look for me 😅

My daughter had a spike in separation anxiety at that age and I wasn’t pregnant yet. I think it’s a common age for that to start/get more extreme
