Hi all, is this normal ? He does this constantly and since he was 6 month old. I’m not sure if this is normal behaviour. I spoke to my dr and he said my baby looks fine. I didn’t show him the feet twirling. But based on his behaviour when we were at the docs, he was fine.

My girl has 1 leg that she uses to bounce herself in her seat. The thing is always going, she also had a growling stage. Babies do strange things lol. Just wanted to comment and say I love the hair! That floof is so cute :)

Hahah thank you, his hair doesn’t stay down 😆😅 they sure do a lot strange things! Hoping this is a phase

Awww seems like he’s just getting used to his body. When they’re so young you’ll see a lot of little funny things they do but it’s nothing to get worried about.

I've never seen this as a symptom? Would there be anything else to make you think autism is a factor?

Just looks like he’s enjoying himself, I wouldn’t have looked at that and been concerned.

Looks like baby is getting used to his body parts lol my baby loved his feet at one point. He would watch them and try to put them in his mouth, the feet are so fascinating for them and remember they are just realizing that they are the ones moving those body parts.

Yes it’s normal xx

My daughter does this all fhe time when she’s happy or excited. Perfectly fine

Completely normal :) and he's a cutie xx

My baby did this all the time!

when I carry him or if he’s in front of him, he would look at me . However if someone else is holding him or playing with him. He will look at me and interact with me. He just won’t look at the person who’s carrying them if that makes sense. I find it abit strange. He’s also extremely fussy like he’ll want me to carry him but then as soon as I carry him, he wants to be put down as well. lol other than that, I’m mainly concern about his twirling feet and his hand

Also just want to add he’s now 10 months old. He’s been doing this for 5 months now

@Michelle what you're describing doesn't send any red flags up in my opinion. I'm not an expert, but I saw signs in my son around that age that signaled autism, lack of eye contact etc, even though they wouldnt diagnose him until 18 months ,I knew.
