My obgyn said Tylenol is safe to take

Tylenol is one of the only things you can take. Start with 500mg every 4-6 hours, and I _think_ the max is 2000mg within 24 hours, but I might not be remembering that max right. Is it a migraine or just headache?

Ok so, I’m not a doctor but I spent 4 days with very debilitating migraines and I was told by a family member to take Benadryl (for kids) and 2 Excedrin pills. And those 2 combined broke the migraine!!! If the headaches persist you should get your blood pressure checked and speak with your doctor/midwife

I want to second what said and add more info. I have had migraines as long as I can remember. The general migraine cocktail is Benadryl, caffeine, Tylenol, lots of water and/or an electrolyte drink like pedialyte, and sleep. Excedrin is just a combination of Tylenol and caffeine.

Tylenol is safe. I’ve been sick twice in my first trimester (before 12 weeks) and taken it without issues (I’m 20 weeks now and baby is healthy on all tests). The further along you are the less risks too so don’t suffer if you don’t need to!

Yes Tylenol is safe my OB also told me about magnesium powder called calm that can help with headaches.

Thank you so much everyone for the very helpful suggestions ❤️❤️🙏
