Giggles/laughs

My little boy has giggled once and i cannot for the life of me get him to do it again. Hes almost 5 months 😪 ive heard other peoples babies giggle like crazy but Frankie likes to scream instead (not cry lol just use his outside voice)

Would love to know what makes your babies laugh :-)

My little boy is so ticklish and laughs whenever we tickle him! I think some people are just ticklish and some aren’t

Mine mainly laughs when I get very close to her face and make a silly noice or say something repeatedly. I normally find that if I get close to her and say “hello baby” or something to her and she smiles, that if I keep repeating it I get a laugh…

Giggles or not, he is a cutie ☺️

My little boy loves a gasp for some reason🤣 if we gasp and pull a silly face continuously he giggles! Also LOVES the bath, always hear him giggle then

Some babies are just more serious than others! My baby will only laugh for my partner not me, how rude of him 😂

My little boy is the same. He's five months 1 week and has literally giggled three times in the last two weeks.. total . He smiles constantly but would rather squeal with excitement rather than just laugh !! X

We have to make ourselves go light headed to make my LG laugh! Literally be an absolute banana saying silly things and making her jump (very lightly) and she giggles like no tomorrow. It’ll come x

ive tried tickling but hes not bothered by it one bit

Avatar

ill try that! And thank you! X

my little boy is constantly smiling and screaming (hes found his voice) i want the laughs!! X

Avatar

maybe i need to try more silly things and see what he reacts too😂😂 x

Avatar

yeah worth it hahaha we always jump in and out and go ‘you going in da bath, with da bubbles, bubble in da bath’
Without fail, it always makes her giggle. We just keep repeating it until she gets fed up and doesn’t giggle any longer😂😂 we say it quite loud though when we start and it makes her jump a little and then giggling

I also blow raspberries on her belly during nappy change and she giggles
X

ill try it alll at this point! The smiles make me so happy but my heart would melt to hear his giggles x

Girl I have a battle to get my boy to giggle he has done it a few time and I do the most silly things to hear it again but he just opens his mouth and no sounds comes out 😂😂😅

Avatar

its so annoying isnt it!! Ive spent all afternoon being stupid and he smiles but thats as far as i get x

Avatar

Aww cutie pie! My LO loves swinging and playing airplane haha this weekend his grandma played “see saw” with him like moving him up and down on her knees and he died laughing so I’ve been trying to copy that and he does chuckle a bit but not quite the same x

Avatar

My little boy giggles at his own farts... typical boy haha 😄. He's only just learned to scream giggle at nearly 5months.

Avatar

The only thing that makes my daughter laugh is my son

Avatar

Mine is the same she’s only laughed twice, everytime she tries to she gets the hiccups 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Avatar

its almost like they dont find their mamas funny

Avatar

hahah my LB loves to scream😂😂😂

My little boy is incredibly ticklish, he also loves watching and laughs at his big brother. He’s a massive giggle pot tbh.
However, my eldest son was so hard to make laugh as a baby, we used to call him a tough critic 😂
He laughs at everything now as a toddler - all babies are different x

When did you circumcise your baby?
If you DID NOT or DO NOT have a circumcised son DO NOT comment this post is not for you!

Did you wait a certain amount of time or have it done immediately?
Again respectfully, this is only for the parents who choose to do so.
opinions about how not necessary it is will not be appropriate for this post. Thank you in advance. 🩵

Can someone pls help i keep making this post and nobody is responding

My boyfriend booked a trip for us to go to mexico for a week as my push present. I have severe anxiety leaving my 7 month old with my mom. I know she will be in good hands but she’s exclusively breast fed for the most part but accepts bottles just fine. i have all my pumping parts packed and will pump when baby normally eats but i don’t want baby to forget me or have latch issues when i return!! any mommas ever experience this?

Vanilla extract

Has anyone used alcohol free vanilla in their babies formal to help them drink?
I’m 100% sure my baby refuses her bottles as she doesn’t like the taste of it!

Just anxious to try it, don’t want her to get used to it and then refuse bottles again after two weeks of using (correct me if I’m wrong but I’ve read you use it for 2 weeks max)

TIA 🙂

Sex post C section

Hi ladies I’m 4 weeks 5 days postpartum and I had a C section. I’m not bleeding properly anymore just some brownish discharge stuff that starts on and off. I’d like to do the deed with my partner; is it okay to do so or shall I wait the full 6 weeks. I feel up for it but also worried because the advice is 6-8 weeks.

Postpartum

I’m only 3 days postpartum (FTM) and already have extremely bad anxiety. I’m crying every night, as I think of another night of no sleep. My baby will not settle in his cot, he cries every moment we put him down unless in his chair rocker. So me and my partner are having to alternate after 3/4 hours of being awake with him downstairs. I’m trying everything to get him to settle. It’s a load of overwhelming stress. I’m 23, I was desperate for a baby and now I have one and feel completely useless. I miss it just being me and my partner.

I feel like just a milk cow

Hi I have a 16 day old via c section, I'm a FTM never having been around babies before as I am the youngest of my household and from a small family. My husband is fantastic with our little one. But ever since I've had the baby I just feel like the only thing I'm good for is producing milk. I feel disconnected from my husband like the only reason he's around is because am producing milk. We were having some issues before the baby and we're struggling it took a while to feel like he was onboard even though he said he was from the moment we found out. I dunno if I'm feeling like a spear part because I'm lacking confidence with baby or because I feel like he wouldn't mind being a single dad. Is this postpartum hormones or something else?
