Mirgaine and sickness

I’ve recently started with migraines, which in turn is making my nausea worse. I’ve been taking paracetamol, but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to deal with both? I’m really struggling to do anything and don’t want to ring the doctors unless completely necessary.

Migraine ‘cool n sooth’ patches for your forehead have saved me, this along side water and paracetamol help. It instantly takes away the intense pain in your head, they’re only cheap from home bargains worth a try x

I had the same for a week I felt so poorly. I don’t know if mine was to do with vitamins and iron and my health in general or what that could have been making me feel so bad because I kept forgetting to take them quite a lot and then after continuously taking them after a week I felt so much better in myself.

I ended up having to have a lye down in a dark room, took paracetamol which helped but then it would come back once they’d worn off! I also felt sick. Sorry not much advise I didn’t know what to do either! 😔 xx

Travel sickness bands could help with the nausea ( I use them when I have a migraine)

I'm here for the tips. Currently in bed trying to calm my current headache... water and paracetamol not working.

I’ve been to the gp for the same things depending on how far along you are she checked for preeclampsia and iron levels so may worth going to them to check. Then she gave me some anti sickness because the paracetamol is not going to work if you’re throwing it up.

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
