You can only apply for child tax credit if you already get working tax credit

Just apply for the grant and if your not entitled they send you a letter to say sorry you can’t have it 🤷‍♀️

Are you still eligible for this if on Universal Credit you’ve a joint claim? I stated that me and my partner are currently receiving UC but it’s both together not two claims if that makes sense. Maybe I should have made this clear?
