I’ve been having the same issue! Still haven’t found anything to work except just finding ways to make myself absolutely exhausted so I have no choice but to fall asleep.

I've been using pregnancy ball

Benadryl!!!! I've had this problem for all my pregnancies. Benadryl is the ONE thing that helps. It will also help you sleep

when i had this i just had to keep telling myself it was mind tricks and that i only need to lay still for 15 minutes to fall asleep.

now im using my pregnancy pillow & i don’t get it anymore

My OB recommended magnesium. Its natural, safe, and helps you sleep at night. Also helps with leg cramps.

Magnesium and make sure you eat something high in iron before bed! I also sometimes use a heating pad on my legs.

My OB also gave me a sleep aid to help and muscle relaxer, but I don’t take it as I have a 3 year old to care for so I could tell you how it works🤣

I take unisom but my legs cancel it out I think 🤣🤣 would it do harm to take both?

Magnesium

as Samantha suggested, the magnesium spray might be a good start. Also she is right about epsom salt! I didn't even think to connect it but I do use epsom salt for body aches.

I take melatonin about 20 minutes before I’m ready to lay down, and I don’t get into bed until I’m tired enough to fall asleep. It’s the only thing I’ve found that helps at all

MAGNESIUM SPRAY!!!!

the magnesium spray works wonders. I listened to a pregnant podcast that mentioned it and said ā€œif you feel a tingle it’s workingā€ and not does it work

I’d have someone sit on my legs I know that can’t happen all the time but it helps. Sometimes I’ll lay on my back and tuck my legs under my butt for as long as I can and it goes away

crazy that makes it worse for me :(((

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way šŸ˜‚ arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!
