Postpartum night sweats

I’m 2 weeks post section and since I got home I wake up sticky and sweaty but I thought it was from us having the house warmer, but last night I woke up drenched in sweat and started panicking thinking I had a fever or infection. Googled in and turns out postpartum night sweats is a thing? Has anyone else had this? There’s so much that I didn’t know about or no one talks about. Same with bleeding, I never knew that happened, thought it would be a few days of spotting lol

Yes I have been having the same with the night sweats 😅 I think it’s to do with your hormones x

Night sweats are ridiculous! 4 weeks PP and I'm still majorly suffering with them. Last night my partner woke up at 3am to find me topless and thought I was doing skin to skin 🤣 I was like no I'm just sweating 🥵 xx

I'm 1 week post section and I didn't know night sweats were a thing either. It's definitely one of those things no one talks about. I wake up absolutely drenched.

Absolutely. I now have a second set of pus i change into halfway through the night because going back to sleep after a feed is so uncomfortable when i feel sticky

Yes I’ve had this and 3 weeks post C-section. Go through 2/3 T-shirts a night! I now use a thin blanket as opposed to the duvet which has helped

3 weeks pp and I still get this, but it’s not every night anymore. Midwife said it’s really normal

Yep I think it’s to do with excess water being expelled :)

I had this until about 2.5 weeks post partum, and found my BO in the morning unbearable too.
Hormones. It’s settled down now thankfully at 3.5 weeks in.

I had this with my first and now again with my second. It honestly feels like I’ve just jumped out of the shower sometimes it’s that bad!! Definitely a thing unfortunately x

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
