I feel like this sometimes. I’ve started going to the gym again, having the odd hour here and there for a brow appointment and a couple of evening meals with friends without baby and honestly I think it makes me a better person/mum to just have that time out. It also gives my husband some time alone with her which he loves.
Don’t feel guilty it’s a huge change and it’s very full on every day with no break xx

Yes! 100% normal, normal jobs you get days off and can go home and reet after a hard day being a mum you don't get that wnd it gets overwhelming
Is thwre a family member you can leave baby with for an hour or so

Yes, it’s perfectly normal. It’s a positive thing to take some time and space to connect with your old self and reenergise to then be better equipped to look after your baby. Go and enjoy yourself, guilt free x

Yes, definitely! I crave this yet love doing what I'm doing. They can both exist. Get a break if you can, and return refreshed. If you can't easily do that just know you're not alone!

I feel the same. Sometimes you just need an hour to get out and do normal things like shopping without thinking will I find a parking space wide enough to get the car seat and pram out, how far am I from the nearest baby changing. My twins are 12 weeks now and I’ve managed to get out on my own a handful of times. It feels amazing being able to just relax and be care free for a while I do miss them though and it feels amazing coming back home to them. Don’t feel guilty we all need a break especially in these early stages

Absolutely! I’ve had several breaks whether it’s getting my hair done or having a meal and drinks with friends. It’s super important to have time to yourself to feel like yourself again.
