Dr said I will be needing to get induced on 39w

You don't *need* to do anything, they can advise you to do something but ultimately it's your decision

I can't give birth by myself and I think I need thier guidance with it ... just not sure with the inducing part ... hopefully it can happen without using forceps or vacuum. That's what I'm worried about

Some Drs feel that way however I'm only 4 months away from 40 and not due until March 18th. My Dr will let me go one week past due date. However I haven't had any issues or complications. You can express that you'd like to wait as long as possible before being induced as long as there's no medical reason to do so before

I was induced with my first by the hospital. My ob was not aware since he was on vacation at the time. I got my epidural at 6cm and progressed to 9.5 cm within 3 hours. Only pushed for 48 minutes and he was out. We did have to do an episiotomy though since I was passing out a lot but that's on me. I was anemic and didn't know.

Just have faith in your doctors.

You should request a membrane sweep if you don’t want to be induced with medication

very common for ivf so not surprised. You can ask about a membrane sweep before induction is required
