teething???

Can be but less likely. It is developmentally normal them to do all those things. Most the times only 1 cheek is red not both. They could be getting sick too. They usually sleep less with teething not more. They sleep more when sick/getting sick tho. If it is teething you can try Camilia drops, teething tablets, teething gel, teething toys, pain medicine (as last resort I’d say)

My son was sort of like that at 2 months. It used to worry me too but he had no fever and he did get checked out just for my own peace of mind. I knew it was teething but sometimes the way he’d cry or suddenly change from being calm to frustrated can be worrying. (He’s still currently teething, but coping better now)

I think you can give him Calpol if it’s quite irritating and try teething toys. Just make sure you check it’s for 2 months + and the time gaps of course. My boy doesn’t like using his teething toy really, but every babies different. Some say a clean finger rubbing on their gums helps too! x

It could be teething. Some babies start as early as 3 months. But it’s less likely. He’s probably going through a grow to spurt. My son would often sleep ALOT during the day when he was growing. Sometimes be super fussy. As they grow, they start to become more aware of the world. Remember this is all brand new to them. I recommend giving him lots of snuggles and maybe start playing with him? He could be bored. My son also started drooling at about 3 months. And putting his hands in his mouth. But he didn’t start teething until 6 months. He’s 7 months now with 4 teeth.

Side note, trust me, you’ll KNOW when he’s teething. They aren’t normal cries. They are painful “I’m not feeling good mommy” cries 🥺🥺

Also, the red cheeks, is probably due to the drool or the eczema

If they’re teething it can upset their tummy so I suggest little remedies gas drops as I’ve heard of other brands upsetting their belly’s even more, they also make an orajel and paci teether for 0+ months that I bought a while back ! Could his formula be upsetting him or if you breast feed do you think he could be having a reaction to you eating dairy or geasy foods? I’m also a first time mom so forgive me I’m just laying out options I think could be factors best of wishes mama🙏🏻
