My 2 month old has refused the bottle for nearly two weeks now, and I can’t understand why. I am breastfeeding and expressing milk and have been doing this since baby was about one week old (was just BF first week). My husband was doing 1-2 bottles an evening and I’d pump while he did so, but since the 19th Feb baby hasn’t taken the bottle at all. I am worried about her weight gain, as the pace in which she is gaining now has slowed (still increasing, but slowly since no bottles). Has anyone else experienced this? We haven’t changed anything. Bottles still the same etc. it’s not only the weight gain that’s concerning me. I feel overwhelmed knowing I’m the sole feeder now and feel somewhat trapped. At least when she was taking expressed milk I had a tiny bit of freedom and could get help where necessary.
Baby has been generally fussier than usual the last two weeks also, and I feel like our feeds aren’t as good as they need to be with her coming on and off frequently.

Between 6-8 weeks babies go through a lot of developmental changes! They tend to get fussier and can change preferences and habits.
Her fussiness is most likely temporary.
My baby is EBF and I also pump so her father can feed her at night. It is stressful when you are the only one who can feed your baby! My baby is 8 weeks old as well. She takes shorter naps, gets real fussy at night and rejected a bottle 2 days ago!

I could have written this post myself. Going through the exact same just a few days later than when yours started and my LO is a week or so younger. Haven't found a solution yet

Going through same thing but with illness on top so little one can’t breath properly either. Apparently little and often I’ve ended up using a syringe to give expressed milk as refusing both boob and bottle

Maybe try to breastfeed to settle her and then top up with the expressed bottle to reintroduce it.
