Reassurance

I am 19 weeks and few days, due for 20 week scan next week. It is my first pregnancy. But everytime I have an appointment for either scan or midwife I get really anxious.
I just feel so alone, is it normal to worry or am I being silly 🙃

It’s totally normal! I haven’t seen an OBGYN yet (my first appointment for everything including the midwife is March 8th!) and I’m so nervous. I think it’s just one of those things where we worry about our babies and if they’re okay and healthy 💕 I’m here for you! This is my first pregnancy as well so I totally understand. I’ve only had one ultrasound so far (my 12 week one) and I was so worried they would tell me my baby wasn’t breathing.

I’m almost 18 weeks within 2 days! So I’m not far behind you. ☺️

Yeah I think I worry they’re going to tell me something is wrong! Although my last scan and appointment was fine. 💕 thank you! ☺️

That’s exactly how I feel everytime as if something would be wrong especially when my scan date get closer.

So normal! I am not an anxious person but the run up to scans gets me so stressed and I think the worst.
I think it’s just the start of a lifetime of worrying for when they arrive 😅

I feel the exact same! I have my 20 weeks scan on 11th March and I’m nervous/ excited!🤍

you likely won't see an OB at all if everything is normal

Tbh the worry doesn't stop even if you have more kids so I think it's pretty normal to worry and be anxious I am a naturally anxious person tbf so I worry a lot but I've never had less worry with scans and I'm pregnant with my fourth 🤣

Totally normal- I cried before my 20 week scan as it’s been a bumpy road to get here and previous appts have all had a bit of bad news, but all was ok, so the way you feel is normal xx

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet pi##ing them off ?!?! It goes off 5/6 a night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off!!
