Been at my parent’s place for 6 weeks with my baby… my husband comes for 3-4 hours at night and then leaves…my child has a few issues so requires extra care and iv had a c section. So that means sleepless nights for me for the past 6 weeks and hectic during the day since he is fussy throughout . My parents are old so naturally they cant do what an active person. Initially he used to come but throw a tantrum as to why my parents are not helpful me like they should so that i can get sleep and im not super tired when he comes because he feels guilty and has to come everyday had theyy helped me he would not… but then finally he got off my back on that when i said they are old and are doing more than enough….What pissed me off is i haven’t stepped out of the house since then and my husband instead of asking me to go have a me day or pamper day… he decided to go see a movie by himself yesterday. Although i mentioned to him our son was unwell and we had a rough night, he said nice things like it will get better and once you are here we will tag team this, but at the same time he decided to go see a movie and reduce the time he could have spent with me knowing i had it rough and a meltdown… is this me overreacting?? Our LO is sensitive so him bringing germs from the theater is also bothering me so much!!! He should have known better

I think it’s lovely that your parents are trying to support you… when do you and your son plan on heading home? It’s possible your husband misses you both and is in a position now that you’ve healed more to support you both? Maybe being closer and starting your at-home-routine would be great for both of you and bubs?

What made you want or need to go to your parents? Was it to help your recovery while your husband had to work? Because him not being around makes it seem like he doesn't think you need his support. With more time with you and having him take on responsibilities it can definitely help change his attitude towards the situation.
It's great to have your parents support but being in your home may be really what's needed overall.
I went there because he low key wanted me to go there so burden was not on him initially….Yes i want to move back but i know he wont help me ! He doesn’t like to be inconvenienced. My baby is very demanding and he can only have him for a few hours without getting a little frustrated. If my appointment is early morning he gets angry because he doesn’t like to compromise his sleep . So imagine once im back and with a demanding baby 24 hours - he will lash out on me like he always does. He has anger issues and justifies thay later by saying something like i did this that to trigger him or else he wouldn’t act this way ….but i need to go back to see right

He sounds literally useless and you're better off not having him around 🤷
