Just curious for those offering ready brek (or Tesco own brand like me 😂) how much you make for your LOs for breakfast? I always do 10g of ready break to approx 50-55ml of milk then add fruit/nut butter. Sometimes she eats the lot and I think I should up this, and sometimes she eats more like half/three quarters! How much does everyone else offer please?

I use normal oats, but blend them so it looks like Ready Brek 😂 - I use a scoop from my protein powder, never thought about it before but just measured it and it’s 30g. Most days he’ll eat all of it 😊

it’s been a long process 🫠 I pretty much offered it every day for 3 months. Dabbing it on his lips when he wouldn’t open his mouth.
It’s only been in the last month that he’s started eating anything.
I mix in mashed banana and peanut butter, don’t know if that makes it taste better for him 😂🤷🏻♀️

I wish my LO would eat 30g! But to be fair I mix it quite a bit of fruit to bulk it out.

it’s the only thing he consistently likes at the moment, probably thinks if he doesn’t eat it all, then he won’t get anything he likes for the rest of the day 😂

it was the first thing we properly gave on a regular basis but it took maybe a month of trying every other day before she reliably ate or enjoyed it! Definitely add in flavours they like, we do peanut/cashew/almond butter, along with banana, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, grated apple, and we’ve done mango and creamed coconut which was a hit! Or for a smoother texture any of the fruit pouches are great to add in :)

no it’s been a real struggle to get him to eat, but finally something clicked about a month ago and he’s trying more now. Just keep persevering 🙃

haha totally get that 😂

We do 10g of ready break 5g of ground nuts and seeds and then add either a teaspoon of peanut butter, half a banana or some berries. I do about 80ml of milk.
