Best way to sterilise Elvie pump?

Hi, any thoughts on the best way to sterilise the Elvie breast pump? I was thinking cold water Milton tabs but then it says on the website that the pump should be completely dry before use? Thanks in advance.

Hey. I have a mom cozy and at the moment I've been soaking it in washing up liquid and warm water, then washing it and rinsing in cold water. I then make a tub of cold water and use the Milton steriliser tablet and leave the parts in there for a while. I then take them out and let them air dry on a tea towel (seperate washing up bowl and tea towel to the ones I do dishes with). It's best to check the instructions that came with the pump/their website as it could be that the parts are suitable for microwave sterilising and that may mean they are dry and ready to use straight away.

Milton is the best for the Elvie - just need to leave time to dry after. Microwave steam sterilisation deformed some of our Elvies parts so we had to replace them. But unless your baby is premature, there is no need to sterilise breast pumps, just ensure they are clean!
