Bleeding after non penetrative sex

Orgasm can irritate cervix and things as your uterus contracts during it. If you're worried get checked though, I've never had it but read that it can be common for some xx

Worth getting checked. I have a cervical ectropion which has caused occassional bleeding during pregnancy but completely harmless. Very common, approx 1 in 10 women will have it and it’s caused by hormonal changes such as becoming pregnant xx

@Eleanor Bonny yeah, in my previous pregnancy I had cervical effacement (very common) that can have small amounts of blood. OP I’d maybe contact triage but I’m happy that your baby is moving happily today!

Thanks everyone, we are in holiday in Spain at the moment and maternity triage at home said just to monitor it and go to hospital if it is more than a teaspoon of red blood today as I was spotting a bit this morning. I have a virtual GP thing through my health insurance and they said to go and get checked, will update with an outcome in case anyone else experiences this x

All good, in and out of a public hospital in 2 hours, my placenta is low and babies head is on it. No intercourse until my next scan and a restful few days 👍 x
