Where do you put a baby?? Stupid question but first time mum lol

There’s so much you could put a baby in. A swing. A bouncer. That just what I have for my son, he likes it for a good two seconds. When he was a newborn I just wrapped him to me with a long wrap, and that made it easier to do anything and everything. Now he’s 4 months and I just put him in his swing or bouncer, or even his crib just to run to use the bathroom, or to eat something.

You can babywear them in wraps, slings, etc. They can literally be on your chest wrapped up whilst you do everyday things. A moveable bassinet is also handy to put them in whilst napping.

When you’re getting them dressed you’ll have to use the changing mat on the floor, or put them on your bed, if you’ve opted not to have a changing table.

When you need to put them down you can put them in whatever you’ve bought for them to sleep in - it’s recommended to have a Moses basket or something that you can move between different rooms of the house so that they can nap in whatever room you’re in, but it’s also fine to put them in there when they’re awake 😊

My boy didn’t like swings or bouncers so we got a playgym and would just lie him in that when we needed to put him down. They don’t move for a while.
We contact napped for naps, we also used the carry cot bit of the pram.

I would put my newborn in the pram and wheel her into the bathroom because I felt weird babywearing while using the toilet hahaha like it's fine but I just felt weird.

The floor is fine! On a blanket or something if youre worried about comfort. They absolutely don't need anything else haha. It's all just marketing

I get my baby dressed on the dining table, I have no room for a changing station and my back won't allow me to do it on the floor. ( Obviously she's never left alone)

When she was younger she used to be in her bouncer or on a play mat

I got a soft baby lounger to carry around. We will put it on the coffee table, bed, floor, wherever. We also have an adjustable high chair that leans back for newborns. I put him in that when I’m cooking. And we have a swing that we settle him in. Other than all those, you can always place them in a crib or bassinet.
Even if they are crying, if you need to set them down, you could always put them in the crib/bassinet or put them on the floor for a few minutes do you need to do – like shower or use the bathroom.
