Congestion in my lo who is 7 weeks old

Mums please advise, my 7 weeks old baby still has a lot of congestion especially through out the night and early mornings, it starts to fade away in the afternoon.. is this normal? She breathes very heavily and through her mouth sometimes. Should I be worried? Any remedies to make her congestion better?

my 3 weeks old son has the same problem. i have been trying to buy saline nasel spray- i heard this is very good, my friend uses it for her 7 weeks baby

'Snuffle babe' saline nasal drops are recommended for helping to clear some congestion, sainsburys sell them and they're online...amd a nasal aspirator (I haven't used mine yet but I'm considering it as my 4 week old girl is a bit congested sometimes) but I would think it might be worth being seen by a doctor just to rule out any virus or bug that's causing the congestion...I think I'm going to do that as I know some newborn congestion can be normal but I'm not sure how long it tends to last for 💕

My 4.5 week old is the same. He sounds so congested on a night but the nasal aspirator hasn’t brought anything out.

my 3 weeks old son has the same provlem, i have started using nasel spray since yesterday and he slept better during the night.

@Megan sorry have just seen this! Yes there is one for newborns, I've only seen one type and it says newborns on the box so that's what I've been using x

Someone also recommended warm compression, I have been doing that for my LO and has also helped.

i really want another baby

i am merely a few months pp but i want another baby, but i am scared of the age gap (2 under 2) and also with everything going on in the world i just think its not the best idea at the moment but i am having crazy baby fever and miss having a newborn🥹

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

C section or natural?

I am a control freak and thinking c section is the least stressful route for me and baby… less complications during labour etc. whilst acknowledging recovering can be hard.
If it could be guaranteed no tearing or complications then I would opt for natural and kind of want to experience the feeling.
Then again could plan and go either way 😂 arghh!
Anyone else in this predicament?

Has anyone ever had pain in the bone at the bottom of the lady area?

How I can only describe it is I feel like I have a fracture or the bone is broken right at the bottom of my vagina bone obviously don’t think it’s to the extent but that’s how it feels. I had it in my last pregnancy and the pain went few months postpartum now it’s back again with this pregnancy. These are the results that u e googled I think I may have the first one has anyone every had this or something similar

Midwife check

Can someone remind me when the midwife visits you at home? Is it the day after you’re discharged? And is that the same on the weekend or do they not visit then? Thanks!

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?
