The baby blues have joined the chat. Had a 1 minute video call with my bf and as soon as I hung up, emotions overtook me but it hurts my c-section wound to cry.
I'm also the most sore I've been as last night I didn't have anyone stay with me in the hospital. I did everything myself. My last baby was 9 years ago so it was a lot but me and baby boy survived our night. Luckily the midwives at my hospital are absolutely fantastic and are always present for what I need.

Aww honey you’re doing great ♥️ it will soon pass
Ps. Your little one is absolutely adorable 🥰

Completely normal to feel this way. I had my first bub 3 weeks ago & had no idea what they meant by baby blues. It didn’t hit me until about day 5 & my god did it hit me. I spent atleast 10 consecutive days crying. He would cry, i would cry. It was a never ending cycle which i thought would never end. I thought that was going to be my life forever, but it stopped. I know it’s hard, but try your best to surround yourself with positive people, people that understand how hard it truly is to have a baby. Yes they’re cute but they really do change your life in more then one way. If you ever need to talk send me a message. Hang in there mama🫶🏼🫶🏼

It’s totally normal! I had it with my first. It passed after 10 days or so xxx

Yes, I know it's normal. He's my 2nd. With my daughter, I remember watching movies one day and bursting into tears 2 minutes into the Spice Girls movie lol.
My pregnancy with him was also very emotional, much more than my previous.

Congratulations just focus on ur baby smiles and it'll give u more happiness

You got this mama!💕

Definitely very common, I also got the blues on day 3, I was being discharged from the hospital, left there and went straight with the newborn to do a 'save our maternity ward' march down the main street! It was a stinking hot summer's day in Feb & I had ppl I didn't know coming with hats & umbrella's to shelter us from the sun 🏖🌞☂️it was all very overwhelming carrying a newborn.
