I actually just put the radio on so I didn’t have to think about it. Got a lovely mix and she came out to Taylor swift. Speak to your obstetrician, mine said a shared Spotify playlist was ideal x

@Sarah Actually that’s not a bad idea, don’t think I’ve ever created a playlist in my adult life and we have the radio on every day at home My first born came out to whams last Christmas😅 he was a December baby and we let the surgeon choose a playlist ha!

@Tascha id have loved a bit of wham! Tbh I didn’t know what I’d feel like in theatre and I didn’t want to associate my fave songs with fear and get some ptsd or something, ruining them.

Turned out that fear was silly. Super calm and happy birth with cracking music! I remember harry styles playing too x

That’s very true and even with a planned you never really know how things are going to go, think I’ll leave it up to the radio or surgeons after all 😅x

I asked my obstetrician what people usually do and she said she’s had MULTIPLE requests for baby to be born to the Circle of Life

i just had Noah Kahan and Taylor Swift on my playlist, it helped when i was feeling anxious as well

@Sarah 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that’s cracked me right up, what a choice!!

We had the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack ready to go because it just puts you in such high spirits and it’s so good.

Oh wow I wish we had that here. I just had to lay there waiting 😂

We did a playlist that my husband had on his phone that we were able to bring in. Only managed to make it through a couple of songs before the baby arrived. Specifically we had Al Bowlly singing the Very Thought of You a song and performer that had played a part throughout our relationship and specifically wanted something meaningful for us.
