My 10 month old sleeps all night through but the past 3 nights has been waking. Me and my husband aren’t well I’ve tonsillitis that’s turned into a chest infection and he has had migraines. I’ve called 111 last time she was like this she had an ear infection. Any other causes for babies to be waking screaming at this age?

Mine has done this for separation anxiety I think she isn’t ill but has a massive tantrum everytime she wakes
Up in cot - I’ve tried everything no sleep method has worked for her and I’m not allowing her to cry she does some tears now as I’m not picking her up and she is having a little paddy as I’m calling it I’m sitting next to her cot re assuring her I’ve done her bun change and offered her bottle but I’ve gotten to the point where she just needs to go to sleep

She was sleeping all night through and can self soothe it’s really odd she’s now wide awake and me and dad are exhausted even giving her a bottle to try get her to sleep

I know there is some sort of regression around 9/10 months, my girl was like this for about 3 weeks, fighting her naps in her cot. Waking multiple times a night absolutely sobbing but I would go in and give her the blanket and stroke her face and she would go back off, made it a point to not pick her up so I didn't wake her up more and she would go back asleep after about 10 mins, also waking alot earlier than normal so she would sleep from 7.30pm until 8am now she's waking around 6.20am which is working well for naps through the day so I'm not too worried about that, but the past few days the night wakings have got so much better only once last night, they learn alot at this age physically like crawling, walking, standing alone, cruising etc but they also learn alot in regards to fine motor skills I do believe its a big leap

It’s actually an ear infection always trust your gut!

could have written this myself! My little one is exactly the same. He was sleeping so well after we put some gentle sleep training in place and was going all night and now he’s waking utterly inconsolable until he’s fed/picked up/dummy etc. feels like we’ve gone backwards! Naps are tricky too, he just isn’t showing sleepy cues like he was!

@Hayley oh honestly the naps are so hit and miss, I found reducing her morning nap to only 30 mins has massively helped her going down for her afternoon nap so of a morning we go for a nice walk and she will doze off for 30 mins males the day so much easier but today she woke at 6.45am and didn't nap at all until 1.30pm but then slept until 4pm 😂 and I'm just like 🤯 I think she could be ready to cut to one nap but thay morning nap I still feel she needs it as she's getting cranky around 9am
