Is going to be rough but this worked for me with my 3 kids , don’t let him sleep the entire day and if he does just let him sleep for about 30 minutes and when it’s time for bed give him a bath ,bottle, music , everything your doing already and put him to sleep if he wakes up later on give him a bottle and /or passy and leave the room tuck him in good too

Girl my son is 8 months old and has slept through the night since 2 months old . Ima tell you some simple things I do . A bath , a bath always makes my son so sleepy . A dark room and loud fan . My son only sleeps with a loud fan. If it’s not on , he doesn’t sleep . Maybe try laying him down around 10 .. after a bath and warm bottle and turn the lights off & maybe try a fan . Self control too , my son sleeps from 11 -10/11 . And do not go back in there . If he knows you are up , he will stay up.

You got this mama

I do all these things 😩😩 but I have started going back to work and when I pick my son up from my mom house he’s already asleep so when I get home I transfer him to his crib and he’s sleep until 2am sometimes a bottle will work and sometimes nothing works he just wants to play as if the bottle gives him energy

She needs to try and keep him awake ! But girl every now and then my son does that too . I usually put him in the swing and he goes right out

he finally went to sleep at 4:27 am he been up since 2am and I told her that but he gets really upset if he doesn’t get his naps

He probably just misses you and knows he can have your full attention at that time and keeps doing it

I think around 8 months plus they do go through a growth spurt so that could be why, but try drinking camomile tea and breastfeed him that should help him feel relaxed x.

All babies are different. You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re doing great

Hey love my daughter is 7 months and wakes up about 2 am. I feed her and she goes back to sleep. Before hand though if she takes late naps or goes to sleep before bed it's hard getting her to go back to sleep. Sometimes you might have to let them cry it out. With my daughter I started at 10 minutes then picked her up rocked her and if she wanted to continue to play I'll put her down and let her cry another ten. The next day I did 15 and keep going she eventually gave up.

You might want to see if you Lo has any other signs of reflux or food allergies. I just saw a sleep specialist, who said that if babies are waking up more than a normal sleep interval (more than every 2 1/2 to 3 hours), then that should be a red flag that the baby is uncomfortable. Could be anything— room temperature, sounds, heck even the texture of the sheets or clothes. Or it could be something medical like allergies or reflux. Definitely talk to your pediatrician. Also, trust your mom gut and look into anything that you think is suspicious. You got this!

I think the better way is pushing his last nap so when you pick him up from your mom house he is awake. When you get home do the bed routine: warm bath, clean pijamas, music and bottle.

my baby girl is 7 1/2 months & about a month ago started waking up at around 2am as well. she gps back to sleep after a feed but i’m going to try & give water instead of milk because maybe they’re just thirsty like how we need a drink at night? you could try dropping the last nap & see how that goes or even doing more playtime. i’m a ftm so we’re all just figuring it out as we go. my pediatrician just said do what feels right because your gut won’t steer you wrong ♥️

I struggled a bit but recently downloaded an app called huckleberry and it's been a huge help getting her sleep better she slept through the night 8 1/2 hours before waking for the first time in months and she will be 8 months on the 22

He also rubs his eyes til he wakes up as well anybody recommend a swaddle I’ve bought plenty

I believe you're supposed to stop swaddling once they can roll over on their own
