Is this normal??

i’m 9 days post c section and still feel like i’m gasping for air if i stand up for longer than 1 minute, i can literally not even lift a glass of water to my mouth without shaking and feeling dizzy because it’s so heavy and i have absolutely no strength. i can carry my baby around but i feel so so dangerous doing it because of how dizzy i get standing up. i feel like this is because i haven’t moved around much at all in the past 9 days due to pain, do you think this is why? or is this normal?

I know everyone’s experience is different but this doesn’t sound normal to me. They should have given you a triage number to ring if you weren’t feeling right, I’d just give them a call and see what they say.

It could be that your iron levels are low. I felt this way for a while, I put it down to the position making me breathless 🤷🏼‍♀️

I felt this exact same way after my last c section, I was sent home with iron tablets as I lost a lot of blood and was anemic. I also think as well that you’ve had a baby inside your tummy for so long and all your organs and lungs and been pushed up to make room and now baby is here all your organs are moving back into their normal position. So it could well be normal, it passed after a couple of weeks for me and I never mentioned it to anyone but I guess it wouldn’t hurt to mention it the next time you see your midwife or gp❤️

Keep up on your pain meds if you can. Maybe make sure you are eating really healthy foods lots of protein. Take your vitaminsstill. It takes a lot out of you to go through the surgery.

No this doesn’t sound normal at all. Please go to your GP if you can. I was lightheaded etc but needed iron tablets and my BP was high but I didn’t feel like this! X

I was like this!! Try and eat foods that contain high in fibre and iron! If you think about it you lost a lot of blood when you was in surgery so keep your iron levels up and drink plenty of water and take it at your own pace each day gets easier xx

thankyou so much!! i am super anemic and forgot to keep taking my iron tablets since having baby😅

I never get on with iron tablets it really upsets my tummy so I’d make broccoli and peas and Brussels with a load of thick gravy lol

Finding out gender

Has anyone found out the gender at a private scan at 14 weeks? And has this been accurate?

I found out at 17 with my first but I know a scan place that offers from 14/15 weeks and I’m impatient 😂🥲

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!
