Scared

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow morning and all I can think about is I’m petrified they won’t find a heartbeat. I haven’t felt any proper movements only a few flutters a few days ago, I have had lots of growing pains/round ligament cramps over the last few days however I don’t know if it’s the nerves of tomorrow but I have a really bad upset stomach today and just feel absolutely rotten no energy whatsoever just want to nap! I thought second trimester you have loads of energy it’s just making me think tomorrow I am going to go and it’s going to be devastating news and I just needed to vent. I have had two early miscarriages and this is the furthest I have got but just so on edge 😢

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow too! And I’m definitely still feeling really tired and run down a lot of days, haven’t felt loads of energy at all, everyone is different. Best of luck for tomorrow morning! Xx

I have mine on Wednesday and have been feeling the exact same way - cramps and I’m back to afternoon naps every few days. I have an anterior placenta too so have been told not to expect to feel any movements until 24 weeks, I’ve bought an at home Doppler which has helped, but Wednesday cannot come soon enough! Best of luck tomorrow xx

That’s really reassuring to hear thank you and good luck with your scan on Wednesday xx

I have an anterior placenta so haven’t felt any kicks yet. Get the occasional flutter but nothing else.. I was really worried for my 20 week scan too (it was last week) I’m 21 weeks on Tuesday.. I also don’t have much of a bump so it’s crazy to think a baby is actually growing in there!! once you see that screen and realise they’re there just kicking around the feeling is such a relief!! So normal to feel nervous before the 20 week scan. Hope it all goes well for you!😁

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Period like cramps

Hi
I’m currently 33 weeks pregnant and I keep getting period like cramps I thought these were Brixton hicks but I’ve heard they only last 30 seconds ish as this can go on for a good time frame then go away and come back, they aren’t bad enough where I can’t do basic things they just feel like I’m about to get my period I’m jus wondering how normal this is? Baby is still very actively kicking xx

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Owlet

Anyone else’s owlet driving them mad?? It goes off 5/6 times night saying it can’t get a reading and needs a snug fit. My baby is 8 months old so moves a lot. It is driving me insane and I keep end up taking it off! Anyone had similar issues?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.
