My little boy has become increasingly fussy with foods, won’t even touch half the things he loved only a few months ago. He has a dairy intolerance but stopped drinking milk ages ago
My partner thinks he’s barely growing and that he may not be getting enough of the right stuff.
He eats a variety of things when his mood allows, usually has an alpro yoghurt once a day then maybe other small amounts of calcium.
I’m finding it really overwhelming and causing me be to be really anxious that he doesn’t appear to be eating much at all, we are yet to see a dietician about his intolerance.
He has dinner 4.30 ish then I offer a cereal supper anytime after 6 but he’s refusing it, even if I offer a different supper. Then wakes up during the night hungry and won’t go back to sleep
I guess I’m wondering what else I can do to increase his food intake to avoid the middle of night snacking and also just in general make sure he’s eating well?😬 he was born 6lb5 and always stayed 50th centile for height/weight. (Not sure what he weighs now)

Maybe he's just not hungry ? My son has to be really hungry to eat otherwise he's just not interested and refuses. I offer tea about 5.30/6 pm and then he's in bed around 7.30. Maybe if you're offering a meal quite early he's not really hungry enough and then you're offering more food 2 hours later. I'd just stick to one evening meal and push the time back a little bit x
