Any cosleeping mums in here that could suggest any tips or tricks on how to transition little one into a next to me or Moses basket?
Me and my little girl have coslept since she was 3 weeks old as she could not settle in anything but our bed, she would get so upset she’d start gasping for air and turn bright red (I never let her cry it out either, that’s with me trying to soothe her without taking her out of her bed).
She sleeps so well with me however she has started to become wriggly in the night as if she wants me to move away from her but then again doesn’t want to sleep on her own.
I’m only looking at transitioning her as I have to go back to work in July meaning her dad will have to put her to beds some nights without me being there.
Any advice appreciated! Xx

Oh omg I am in the same situation! Following xx

Maybe try to let her nap in the cot during the day and put some clothes with your smell under and / or on top of her, like a blanket.. and slowly, slowly trying to do the night as well..

Following as I'm in same situation x

I don't cosleep, but I know my little one didn't like her cot at first, and she was in the moses for ages, then she outgrew it. I was dreading trying the cot again, but I read online if you put them in the cot during the day when awake and happy and interact, play with them, they will associate it as a safe space.
I mean, it worked for us, no idea if that was just sheer fluke but worth a shot 💕

I only co sleep the odd time but currently in a clingy phase so had to do it more and getting her into her own bed again now which is going well, i hold her till shes drowsy then put her down but lay half in her bed and half in mine so my face is close to her! She does sometimes get fussy when put down but giving her dummy and staying close calms her. Then slowly move away keeping hand on her chest till shes properly sleep, then each night just spent less and less time near her until just a hand on her chest comforts her then eventually ill get back to not having to do that for long and shes sleeping by herself again
