Hey guys,
I had my growth scan today at 36+0 weeks and the baby is measuring on the 91st centile and is 7lbs 2 which is quite big.
They said we will discuss making changes to my birth plan this Thursday, but I just wanted to know if anyone else experienced this at their growth scan and what was the outcome?
Considering I’ve got another 4 weeks to go, this will be a big baby!

So at my 36 week scan baby was measuring 7lb 10 ( I have gestational diabetes ) I'm being induced at 39 weeks which is just under 2 weeks xx

I'm 34+3 and had scan on Sunday so 34+1 and baba was estimated to be 5lbs 8 xx

Good luck lovely xx

my little one was estimated 5lb 1 at my 32 week scan 😳🤣 x

@Claire wow, it's amazing how much they actually weigh though when they enter the world x

I was estimated 7lbs 13 at 36+4 😬 having weighed everything up I have agreed induction at 39w also as I'm a FTM and felt unsure about just 'letting things run', plus I really want to avoid caesarean if possible x

In my last pregnancy my last growth scan at 36 weeks she was measuring 7lb 4 but she was breech as I was taken in for section 12days later she had turned herself in that 12 days so tried an induction so they might bring you earlier depending on how your pregnancy has been I had GD xx

yeah I'm intrigued to see what her actual weight is once she's here as I've seen so many estimates and they are completely off once baby has arrived and physically weighed 🤣 xx Thankyou lovely, you too! Xx

Me too. 36+2 today and scan showed baby at 7lb 🙈 they do say it can be up to 20% either way so don’t panic. That’s what I’m trying to tell myself anyway.
oh, good luck with your induction.
I haven’t had my results for Gestational diabetes yet. I did it last week.
good luck with your induction!
I wonder if this is what they’ll suggest to me on Thursday.
thanks, did they say you can still go full term? I’m trying not to panic 😅

hopefully don't have it then :) well where I live they basically say if you don't hear anything by the next day you don't have it, unfortunately for me they called me within 2 hours of getting home from the appointment x

I wouldn't stress too much, as long as you're consistently on the same centile because the weight they see on the scan can be SO wrong! On my first I was scanned at 36 weeks and they told me he was 7lbs 14, he was born via emergency section (I had preeclampsia) the next morning and was 6lbs 5! Xx
