Does anyone else get really dizzy during their ultrasound scans? I'm having scans every 4 weeks due to being high risk. The last couple of scans I felt some dizziness but it was manageable. This morning, I had my 32 week scan and I actually nearly a passed out from the dizziness. I got really hot and sweaty. And I've felt like rubbish since then. I tried to sleep it off but still feel a bit dizzy every time I get up and stand longer than 30 seconds. Has anyone else experienced this?
I'm aware that lying on my back can put pressure on the vena cava and cause dizziness. But I'm just worried that I'm still feeling the effects of it hours later.

I would call the midwife and share it just to check. I believe it is ok, but go and check if you are worried

Ask for a wedge when you have your scans and they'll sit you upright. If they don't have a wedge they'll suggest you roll over when you feel dizzy. I have the same issues and they are always really good at looking after me ☺️
